    With the increasing use of vacuum switches, various operating voltages caused by their strong breaking capacity have raised new issues for the protection of power equipment. Due to some particularities of my country 's medium-voltage power grid (3 ~ 66kV), conventional medium- voltage arresters are not sensitive to such operating overvoltages and cannot provide protection. TBP three-phase combined over-voltage protector (also called YH three-phase combined arrester) is a new product developed to solve this problem.

    This type of product adopts four-star connection (commonly known as three-halberd connection) and sets a common neutral point. Not only can the phase-to-phase overvoltage be greatly reduced, but also the relative ground protection level is also qualitatively improved, which is truly effective for vacuum switch operation Effective limit of overvoltage.

    The company's products are composite insulation, small and compact structure, and overall vulcanization and fully enclosed molding. High- quality metal oxide valve discs and self-blowing special gaps are selected, with high working characteristics, safety and convenience. It is especially suitable for use with KYN, XGN, GBC, JYN, GZS and other different types of medium voltage switchgear sets, or directly installed in small box-type substations

The normal use conditions of conventional products are as follows:
◆ Ambient temperature: not higher than +40℃ , not lower than -40℃ ;
◆ Altitude: not more than 3000m;
◆ Power frequency: 50±2Hz; 60±2Hz;
◆ Maximum wind speed: 35m/s;
◆ No cleaning conditions: medium pollution and below areas;
◆ For products without gaps, the long-term applied power frequency voltage shall not exceed the continuous operating voltage of the protector;
◆ For products with gaps, the short-term power frequency voltage rise at the installation point shall not exceed the rated voltage of the protector. For long-term use under the following abnormal conditions, the protector needs to be specially made and should be stated when ordering:
◆ Temperature or altitude exceeding the standard (such as plateau, tropical, frigid zone, for fully enclosed cabinets, close to electric furnaces, etc.):
◆ There are serious moisture or corrosive gas impurities in the use environment (such as water, salt farms, chemical plants, etc.):
◆ Strong ultraviolet radiation (such as plateau, strong sunshine and arid areas, etc.):
◆ Areas with heavy pollution (such as mining face, construction site face, etc.)

Application and Implementation Standards

This product is used in the AC medium voltage 3 ~ 66kV power system to prevent the operation overvoltage mainly generated by the vacuum switch from damaging the electrical equipment, and also has the function of lightning protection.
